Quality control is most useful when it follows the exact product, visible presentation and packing plan that the buyer approved. For home decor, the final problem is often not a general defect. It may be a changed finish, a missing component, an incorrect label or protection that does not fit the product.
Set the reference before production
Record the selected product, material, colour or finish, dimensions, visible details, logo, label, retail packaging and inner protection. The approved sample and written notes give the factory and buyer one shared standard for the order.
Use checks that fit the product
Glass, ceramic, metal, resin, textiles, candles and fragrance accessories do not fail in the same way. Define the details that matter for the selected items: visible workmanship, surface consistency, stability, assembly, function, set contents and SKU allocation.
Keep packing connected to the item
Review dividers, foam, inner boxes, inserts, cartons and carton marks with the actual product shape and mix. For mixed-SKU orders, confirm the SKU split, carton quantity and receiving information before cartons are closed.

- Production and packing photographs where required
- Final SKU and carton count
- Carton dimensions, marks and shipping information
These records make it easier to receive the delivery, discuss any issue clearly and prepare a repeat order without rebuilding the brief from the beginning.
